The countersunk bears shortly on the material. The partial hexagon assures the loosen and rotate of the rivet nut.

Uses
An optimal security against rotation is ensured by the partial hexagonal shank. Once you have used a key part of the hex shank prevents accidental unscrewing as opposed to the hex shaft.
The tightening torque specifications are guide values depending on the material of the original component and must be checked by testing the component.
